MICRO SUCTION EAR WAX REMOVAL
Micro suction is a safe and effective way of removing unwanted blocked wax from the outer ear canal.
Before your appointment:
To prepare the ears for your wax removal appointment, we recommend using 'Earol', available at the pharmacy.
If you have any previous history of know perforations, do not use any oil, and let the practitioner know on the day of your appointment. Otherwise, administer the Earol into the affected ears on at least four separate occasions before your appointment.
Do this by laying on your side for five minutes; this allows the oil to penetrate the ear canal to the eardrum. Avoid using any cotton wool during this time. After sitting up, wipe away any excess oil. Do not put in any hearing devices straight after using the oil. If you have hearing aids, bring them along to the appointment.
