Say goodbye to your daily eyeliner routine and hello to Permanent Makeup! Wake up every morning looking your best!
Permanent eye makeup is suitable for women and men with:
1. Sparse Lashes
2. Contact Lenses Wearers
3. Unsymmetrical Features
4. Busy lifestyle
5. People with Poor Vision
6. Hypersensitivity to Conventional Makeup
7. Watery eyes or sensitivity to eye cosmetics
8. Ageing
From a subtle lash liner, a smoky shaded Latino or a striking butterfly eyeliner, I have a technique to suit your style and enhance the natural beauty of your eyes
LIPS
Do you want to add a youthful flush of colour to faded lips? Improve the definition of your lip line? Correct many imperfections caused by cold sores and scarring?
Permanent cosmetics can be used to improve the definition, symmetry and fullness of your lips giving you that kissable pout that won’t wear off!
I offer everything from a lip contour and blush to a full lip colour.
During the consultation, the lip colourings and face shape will be assessed. I will discuss your requirements and use artistic skills to pre-draw the enhancement using a traditional cosmetic pencil. This is to ensure that you are happy with the desired shape and colour. Once the shape has been set this template is used to implant the pigment colour into the lips using the state of art electronic precision hand piece.
Full After Care is given and a perfecting free boost to sharpen the desired colour will be arranged 6-8 weeks post procedure.
BROWS
Do you suffer with sparse brows due to over plucking, fair hair, scaring, a medical condition or just an undesirable shape? Permanent make-up can give you realistic and natural looking brows, that will last for years.
My aim is to create a brow which looks as natural as possible. To enable this I offer a range of different techniques.
I will work with you from initial consultation. We start by discussing your desired look and decide whether your brows need reshaping, lifting, thickening or defining. As with all my treatments I measure and draw a template on the skin and never tattoo until you are 100% happy with the design. I have a wide variety of top quality pigments to suit all skin and hair colours and am therefore confident the best match will be selected.
After the treatment, you are given full aftercare advice, a follow up appointment is then made within 6-8 weeks to perfect, giving you the eyebrows you’ve always dreamed of.
As brows will fade with time, to keep them looking at their best, a colour boost every 8-18 months will bring the colour back to its full potential.

Are the pigments & materials used safe?Yes absolutely! my pigments are pharmaceutical grade, hypo allergenic, gamma sterilised and manufactured under very strict European guidelines that govern the production, sterilisation and ingredients. Rest assured the equipment used is not only the latest in sophisticated digital technology, but is also 100% safe by design that ensures absolutely no cross contamination is possible. All equipment complies with HSE requirements.

How long will it take? This varies on which treatment you receive. The first procedure will take around 2 hours, with an extra hour to numb the area. We spend time drawing a perfect shape that we are both really happy with. The actual tattooing usually takes around an hour. Be sure to leave enough time, as a treatment like this, cannot be rushed, after all it is your face! I also work very light so my work looks super natural and because I have many years’ experience in the field of permanent make-up and beauty therapy I know you will be delighted with the result. You will have the gorgeous brows you've always dreamed of!
-
Do I have to shave off my own brows? No definitely not, so many people ask this question, if you leave a little hair there or fluff it can look more natural. But don’t worry if you haven’t much left, you may have over plucked them, or you may have lots of hair. You might have or have had an illness or had medication where you have sadly lost all of your eyebrows. However, it doesn’t matter how much hair you have present you can have the brows you have always dreamed of; restoring your confidence, helping you look younger, saving you endless hours drawing them on, only for them to smudge or wipe off.
-
How long will it take to heal?Generally, the colour will be darker for the first 3-5 days. You may also experience light to moderate swelling, especially with eyeliner and lip procedures. After the initial three days, the healing skin will begin to gently flake away and the treated area will lighten. In many cases it may be too light or even disappear, some pigment can push back through over the next few weeks so you will not see the true healed results until around 3-4 weeks post treatment. 6 weeks after the initial treatment a top up is required to perfect and apply any slight alterations that may be required, this is included within the treatment price.
-
What if I have specific medical needs? You may have specific requirements for permanent makeup such as scars, alopecia, trichotillomania, chemotherapy, areola reconstruction, vitiligo, loss of sight or other health related concerns. Permanent makeup is an extremely beneficial and a fantastic solution to these types of medical concerns.
-
What is the difference between Permanent Make-up and Semi-Permanent Make-up?The truth is there is no difference at all! They are both the same thing. Pigments are implanted into the upper reticular layer of the dermis using a machine or hand tool. These pigments by nature slowly fade over time allowing us to adjust the shape and style of the brows as we age. Eventually they fade away so that they are not visible to the naked eye. But if an MRI Scan was done, a trace of pigment would always be visible.
-
Does PMU hurt? With your permission I apply topical anaesthetics to the skin to assure you have the most comfortable experience possible. Many clients describe the sensation as a “tingling” feeling. Or that of an electric tooth brush being held against their skin. On a scale of 1-10, most rate the discomfort between 0-3. And quite a few clients fall asleep!
-
What qualifications and experience do you have? With almost 30 years experience in the beauty industry, I have an eye for perfection and strive to achieve the best results. I am trained to an elite level in permanent cosmetics and possess a CPCP qualification alongside training in the provision of medical/paramedical tattooing. This includes nipple and areola enhancement, cleft lip reconstruction, scalp camouflage, vitiligo camouflage, scar relaxation and micro-needling (MCA/CIT). In addition, I continue to update my personal knowledge by attending workshops and training sessions to ensure that my practice is constantly up to date conforming to the latest techniques. This guarantees that the service you’ll receive is top quality.
-
Why do permanent makeup/semi-permanent makeup prices differ? As in much of the cosmetic industry, it is usually the higher end of the market that will deliver the best results. My prices reflect quality of service, comprehensive (& continually updated) training, i use top quality equipment & pigments, care, attention to detail, aftercare and above all i believe in quality over quantity. Remember... THIS IS YOUR FACE, only the very highest quality work should be acceptable for you. If people are charging low prices, giving regular discounts, special offers like (Groupon etc), misrepresenting their qualifications or even using other artists photo's, ask yourself why! Do your research first! It's so important. This is an unregulated industry and there are many facades that people hide behind - please be careful and do your research!
-
Will it look natural?Yes! I work very light and pride myself on my skills in making your permanent makeup look as natural as possible. I feel this is the whole point of permanent cosmetics. You will find people saying "you look great" but they can't quite put their finger on why! This is the part that takes great skill. This where my elite training and regular updating of my skills ensures great results every treatment.

How long do they last, will I need to use my pencil again?Because my work is very natural looking, I recommend my clients use a little powder/ pencil/gel on top of the look after they have applied their make-up, this gives the ultimate brow look. But on days when you can’t be bothered or you wear little or no make-up they will still look fabulous. Remember, when applying any make-up to your brows, it is so easy, as once they are done, you now have a template to follow, and I can show you how to enhance the make-up in seconds! As you are probably aware now they fade over time lasting up to 3 years depending on the individual, (although some pigment can remain in your skin indefinitely).. For the best results I prefer clients to have a colour boost roughly once a year, this is cost effective and keep them looking their best Skin types and aftercare can affect how true the hair strokes remain in your skin. Oilier skin will break down the pigment quicker as will someone who loves the sun or is a gym bunny; but this doesn’t matter as you can have colour boosts more frequently.

What is the difference between Machine and Microblading?Machine method: The hairstrokes/shading are applied using a medical grade machine using the handpiece to implant the pigment with a variety of sterile needles depending on the effect required; because of the vibrations of the machine the pigment breaks down quicker in the skin giving a softer more blurred effect, turning into more of a powdered brow over time. Hair strokes can be re-done on a yearly colour boost. Microblading: Brow embroidery is a similar process to conventional methods but is done using a sterile hand tool carrying a configuration of needles called a blade. By using gentle pressure, the blade glides over the skin and causes a fine cut no thicker than a papercut implanting the carefully selected pigment into the sweet spot between the epidermis and dermis. When healed this looks like real hair. Because of the super fine implantation of pigment there is very little to no diffusion under the skin, leaving the hairstrokes/ design looking crisper and staying truer over time.
