Lips
Would you like to restore a youthful flush of colour to faded lips, enhance the definition of your lip line, or correct imperfections caused by cold sores or scarring?
Our permanent cosmetic treatments are designed to improve the definition, symmetry, and fullness of your lips, giving you a beautifully enhanced pout that lasts.
We offer a range of options, from lip contour and blush to full lip colour. During your consultation, our team will carefully assess your lip colourings and face shape. We’ll discuss your preferences and use our artistic skills to pre-draw the enhancement with a traditional cosmetic pencil, ensuring you’re happy with the shape and colour before proceeding. Once the shape is approved, this template guides the implantation of pigment using a state-of-the-art electronic precision handpiece.
Comprehensive aftercare instructions are provided, along with a complimentary perfecting boost 6–8 weeks after the procedure to refine the final result.
Brows
Do you struggle with sparse brows caused by over-plucking, fair hair, scarring, medical conditions, or simply an undesired shape? Our permanent makeup treatments can give you realistic, natural-looking brows that last for years.
Our goal is to create brows that look as natural as possible using a variety of techniques tailored to your needs. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your desired look and determine whether your brows need reshaping, lifting, thickening, or defining. We’ll measure and draw a precise template on your skin and will only proceed with the treatment once you’re 100% happy with the design.
With a wide selection of premium pigments to suit all skin tones and hair colours, we ensure the perfect match for a flawless finish. Following your treatment, you’ll receive full aftercare advice and a follow-up appointment within 6–8 weeks to refine and perfect the final result, giving you the eyebrows you’ve always dreamed of.
As brows naturally fade over time, we recommend a colour boost every 8–18 months to keep them looking their best and restore their full potential.
FAQs - Your Frequently Asked Questions
Does PMU hurt?
To ensure your experience is as comfortable as possible, we apply topical anaesthetics to the skin with your permission. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild “tingling” or liken it to the feeling of an electric toothbrush held against their skin.
On a scale of 1 to 10, the majority rate the discomfort between 0 and 3—and many even find it so relaxing that they fall asleep during the treatment!
How long will it take to heal?
Following your treatment, the colour will appear darker for the first 3–5 days. Light to moderate swelling is also common, particularly with eyeliner and lip procedures. After this initial phase, the treated area will begin to gently flake as the skin heals, and the colour will lighten significantly.
In some cases, the pigment may appear too light or even seem to disappear temporarily. Over the next few weeks, the pigment will gradually resurface, with the true healed results becoming visible around 3–4 weeks post-treatment.
A follow-up appointment is scheduled 6 weeks after the initial procedure to perfect the results and make any necessary adjustments. This top-up session is included in the treatment price, ensuring your final look is flawless.
What if I have specific medical needs?
If you have specific requirements for permanent makeup due to scars, alopecia, trichotillomania, chemotherapy, areola reconstruction, vitiligo, loss of sight, or other health-related concerns, permanent makeup can be a life-changing solution.
This advanced technique offers an effective and natural-looking way to address medical concerns, restoring confidence and providing a long-lasting enhancement that suits your individual needs. It’s a tailored approach to help you feel your best every day.
What qualifications and experience do you have?
With nearly 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, our team is committed to achieving perfection and delivering outstanding results. We are trained to an elite level in permanent cosmetics and hold a CPCP qualification, alongside extensive expertise in medical and paramedical tattooing. Our services include nipple and areola enhancement, cleft lip reconstruction, scalp and vitiligo camouflage, scar relaxation, and micro-needling (MCA/CIT).
To ensure the highest standard of care, we regularly attend workshops and training sessions, staying up to date with the latest techniques. This dedication guarantees that the service you receive is not only professional but also of the finest quality.
Will it look natural?
Absolutely! Our approach is designed to deliver natural-looking permanent makeup that enhances your features subtly and beautifully. We believe the true essence of permanent cosmetics lies in creating results that look effortless, leaving people saying, “You look amazing,” without knowing exactly why.
This requires exceptional skill, precision, and a light touch—qualities we pride ourselves on. With elite training and a commitment to regularly updating our techniques, we ensure every treatment achieves stunning, natural results tailored to you.
What is the difference between Permanent Make-up and Semi-Permanent Make-up?
The truth is, there’s no difference at all! Both methods involve implanting pigments into the upper reticular layer of the dermis using either a machine or a hand tool. These pigments naturally fade over time, allowing adjustments to the shape and style of the brows as we age.
Eventually, the pigment fades to the point where it’s no longer visible to the naked eye. However, a trace of pigment would still be detectable if an MRI scan were performed, ensuring the treatment is as adaptable as it is enduring.
What is the difference between Machine and Microblading?
Machine Method:
The machine method uses a medical-grade device with a handpiece to implant pigment into the skin. A variety of sterile needles can be used, depending on the desired effect. Due to the vibrations of the machine, the pigment breaks down more quickly within the skin, resulting in a softer, more blurred effect that gradually transforms into a powdered brow appearance over time. Hair strokes can be refreshed during annual colour boost sessions to maintain their definition.
Microblading:
Microblading, also known as brow embroidery, is a manual technique performed with a sterile hand tool equipped with a blade composed of tiny needles. Using gentle pressure, the blade glides over the skin to create fine cuts—no thicker than a papercut—implanting pigment into the “sweet spot” between the epidermis and dermis. Once healed, the strokes mimic the appearance of real hair. Because of the precise implantation, there is minimal to no diffusion of pigment under the skin, leaving the hair strokes looking crisper and more defined over time.
Each method offers unique results, and the choice depends on your desired brow style and maintenance preferences.
Do I have to shave off my own brows?
No, definitely not! This is a common question, and the answer is reassuring—whether you have a little hair, a lot, or none at all, you can still achieve the brows you’ve always dreamed of. Leaving a bit of natural hair or fluff can enhance the overall natural look, but it’s not essential.
If you’ve over-plucked, lost hair due to illness, medication, or other reasons, don’t worry. Permanent makeup can restore your confidence, help you look younger, and save you countless hours spent drawing on brows that smudge or wipe away. Whatever your starting point, we’re here to create beautiful, lasting brows tailored just for you.
How long will it take?
The duration of your treatment depends on the specific procedure you choose. Typically, the first session takes around 2 hours, including an additional hour to numb the area. During this time, we carefully draw the perfect shape, ensuring we’re both completely happy before proceeding. The actual tattooing process usually lasts about an hour.
It’s important to allow plenty of time for your appointment, as achieving flawless results—especially for your face—should never be rushed.
With years of experience in permanent makeup and beauty therapy, I work with a light touch to create super-natural results. You can feel confident that you’ll leave with the beautiful, natural-looking brows you’ve always dreamed of!
How long do they last, will I need to use my pencil again?
Because my work is designed to look incredibly natural, I often recommend my clients enhance their brows with a touch of powder, pencil, or gel after applying their makeup. This creates the ultimate polished brow look. On days when you prefer minimal or no makeup, your brows will still look fabulous. Once your brows are done, they act as a perfect template, making it easy to enhance your look in seconds—and I’m happy to show you how!
As you likely know, permanent makeup fades over time, typically lasting up to 3 years depending on the individual. Some pigment may remain indefinitely, but for the best results, I recommend a yearly colour boost. It’s a cost-effective way to keep your brows looking their absolute best.
Factors such as skin type and aftercare can influence how well the hair strokes retain their appearance. Oily skin, frequent sun exposure, or a very active lifestyle (like being a gym enthusiast) may cause pigment to break down more quickly. However, this isn’t a problem, as colour boosts can easily be scheduled to maintain the look you love.
Why do permanent makeup/semi-permanent makeup prices differ?
In the cosmetic industry, the best results often come from choosing the higher end of the market. My prices reflect the exceptional quality of service I provide, backed by comprehensive and continually updated training. I use only top-quality equipment and pigments, ensuring meticulous care, attention to detail, and superior aftercare.
I firmly believe in quality over quantity—after all, this is your face. Only the very highest standards should be acceptable for such an important treatment.
If you come across practitioners offering very low prices, constant discounts, or deals on platforms like Groupon, or if they misrepresent their qualifications or use others’ work as their own, ask yourself why. It’s crucial to do thorough research. This industry is largely unregulated, and there are many facades people can hide behind. Protect yourself by ensuring you’re choosing a professional with genuine skills, experience, and integrity.
